Hi Parents,

We wanted to share a few important updates and reminders as we head into the second week of the season:

1. Great first week of practice!
   Thank you to all of the swimmers, parents, and coaches for helping us get off to a fantastic start this season.
2. Meet #1 Sign-Ups Are Open (Murphy Candler)
   Please log into SwimTopia and mark your swimmer’s availability for the first meet.

To sign up:

• Click “Schedule”
• Select the meet
• Click “Meet Entry”
• Mark YES or NO for your swimmer’s availability

If you mark YES, your swimmer will be expected to attend the meet. If plans change after signing up, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.

Please note:

• Sign-ups will lock at midnight on Saturday night before the meet.
• Coaches begin building lineups on Sunday and are typically unable to accommodate late additions.
• If a swimmer is removed from a meet after lineups are finalized, they will not be eligible to swim in relays at the following meet.

1. Reminder for 6 & Under Swimmers
   Swimmers in the 6 & Under age group may only participate in 2 regular season meets in addition to the Guppy Meet.

While meets generally run until around 9:00 PM, 6 & Under swimmers are usually finished by approximately 7:00 PM (after backstroke), unless they are asked to participate in later relays.

1. Volunteer Sign-Ups Are Open
   Volunteer sign-ups for the first meet are now available. A brief description of each volunteer role can be found in the sign-up section.

As a reminder:

• Each family is required to volunteer at least 2 times during the season.
• Families who do not fulfill their volunteer requirements may lose access to early registration for next season.

1. Meet Details Coming Soon
   We will share additional details about Tuesday’s meet as soon as they become available.
2. No Practice on Memorial Day
   There will be no practice on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
3. Team Shirts
   Team shirts should be arriving any day now. Once they are in, we will distribute them either during practice or before the meet.
