🏊 Practice Schedule

Evening Practices (Starting May 11):
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday

• Ages 5–6: 6:00 – 6:35 PM
• Ages 7-8: 6:40 – 7:25 PM
•  Ages 9-10: 7:25 – 8:10 PM
• Ages 11+: 8:10 – 9:00 PM

Final groupings may adjust based on team size.

🌅 Morning Practice (Planned)

We are working to offer morning practices for swimmers ages 9+:

• Tentative Times: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
• Days: Will likely be Monday and Friday

This option is ideal for swimmers seeking additional training or with evening conflicts. Updates coming soon pending final approval.

🏁 Meet Information

Meet Days: most will be on Tuesdays

• Warm-Ups: 4:30 PM
• Start Time: 5:30 PM
• End Time: Typically after 9:00 PM

Full schedule (home & away) loaded into Schedule. We will have 5 dual meets.

Important Meet Policies

• Swimmers must commit in advance to each meet
• No late sign-ups once lineups are finalized
• Attendance is required once committed
• Missing events or relays impacts the team and future participation

5–6 Year Olds:

• Limited to 2 meets per season
• May leave after events (typically ~7:30 PM)
• Additional Guppy Meet (June 27)

🏆 Championship Opportunities

Swimmers will have the opportunity to compete in:

• ASA Championships (June 25th @ 4pm.  All ages are eligible for this meet and the more swimmers we have, the more points we rack up)
• GRPA Districts (Ages 7+) (June 20th)- Will swim for the City of Brookhaven with other Brookhaven Residents.  The City does a great job of providing swim suits, t-shirts, caps, towel, and bag all branded for Brookhaven.  
• GRPA State Meet (Qualifiers only) (Date and location TBD)

These are fantastic, high-energy events—we strongly encourage participation!

✅ Requirements

• Ages 5–18
• Must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted
• Evaluation will occur during the first week

⚠️ This is not a learn-to-swim program. If unsure, please consider lessons in advance (Dynamo is a great option).

🙌 Parent Involvement

To run meets successfully, family participation is required:

• Each family must complete 3 volunteer shifts per season
• Sign-ups will be shared once the meet schedule is finalized
• Incomplete volunteer requirements may impact future registration priority

🎒 Required Equipment

• Practice swimsuit + team suit for meets
• Goggles
• Swim cap
  (Team gear available via SwimOutlet)

💲 Pricing

• $140 Registration Fee
• $50 ASA League Fee
  ➡️ Total: $190

ASA Fee Schedule:

• Before April 16: $50
• April 16 – June 1: $70
• After June 1: $75
