What a fun meet last night.  Glad we were able to get it in.  Thanks for everyone's help in getting it done.  All the kids were dialed in and we saw 52% of the swimmers improve their times.  That is awesome!  Also, we set several pool records last night.  We have been keeping a record book since 2018.  You can see this record book by logging in to the Swimtopia site and then clicking on the link for records.  See if you see your child can find their name and if not, it is a great benchmark to compare their times in a specific event to the pool records.  We did lose a very close meet to Murphy Candler 416- 354.  This is about 50 points better than we did against MC last year so great improvement.  We are almost there!  

Monday is our last dual meet of the year at home against Roxboro.  Signups will still end at midnight on Saturday.  Please sign up if your child plans to swim.  Also, remember we have 3 volunteer requirements per year and only 1 more meet to complete this requirement.  There are several families with only 1 shift completed.  Please sign up to volunteer!

We typically have a coaches relay the last meet of the year.  This year, a few parents decided they would challenge the coaches.  Currently we have 2 parent relay teams entered.  If you are interested, we can fit 1 more team.  Put 4 parents together and let me know.  First one to reply gets in.  It will be a 4x100 freestyle relay and I am thinking the coaches will have some sort of challenge to make it a little more fair :).   I am thinking it will start at 5:25, right before the meet starts.  

Lastly, there will be NO practice on Monday or Friday morning next week.  There will be a normal practice schedule on Wednesday morning, Wednesday afternoon and Thursday afternoon.  Feel free to attend even if not attending ASA Championships.
