Parents,

Crazy evening!  That thunderstorm popped up out of nowhere.We probably could have waited it out in the car and been swimming by 7:20ish but the remaining forecast looked ominous and rescheduling seemed like the thing to do.  Hindsight is always 20/20.  I am just glad that we were able to clear the pool deck and everyone made it home safely.  

As for the reschedule: we are doing everything we can to get it rescheduled starting on the event that ended mid race (I think event 5 or 6) at 6pm on Thursday, June 19th.  The city will be closed for Juneteenth but the pools are open and we were scheduled to have swim practice anyways.  We are working on the back end stuff to try to get a quick turn around. This is a new meet.  Anyone can sign up regardless if they were swimming tonight or not.  If you are no longer able to swim at the reschedule, no worries, just simply do not sign up.  I will close the sign up by 5pm tomorrow.  The coaches will write the meet and merge it by 10pm.  

We will have a quick warm up for our 9+ and then another quick one for MC and try to have the meet started by 6:20 or so.  We can have the pool until 10ish hopefully.  The city should confirm this tomorrow.  We will need volunteers, so please re-sign up if you are able.
