Hi Parents,

• I have opened up the meet that is scheduled at Hampton Hall.  Please sign up by Saturday at NOON.  We are changing the sign up time to Saturday at noon because the meet on a day earlier and we need to give the coaches time to write the meet line-up.  Please remember, THIS MEET IS ON MONDAY 6/24. This is done because of ASA Championship sessions starting on Wednesday (Ours is Friday).  I ran the volunteer report and there are a lot of families with no volunteer shifts worked and several with only 1.  Summer swim is a sport that requires parents to volunteer.  We have a pretty low volunteer bar; 1 shift requirement for 5&6 year old parents and 2 shift requirements for everyone else.  Please 
• This is the absolute final call for those interested in swimming in ASA.  We currently have 52 swimmers signed up and could use a few more to help get more relays and such entered.  Please consider signing up if you have not done so already.  Registration will close this evening at midnight.
• If you have not picked up your child's (or your) team shirt, please do so at practice.  They are in the swim team closet.  Mark your name off the list.  This will be on the honor system.
• Last night's meet was a great one for our Barracudas.  We were ahead in the meet a majority of the night but ended up losing by about 50 points.  We scored the most points we have scored all year as we eclipsed 350 points.  We had some phenomenall individual swimming and great cheering/sportsmanship all around.  Almost 49% of our times improved over previous times. Tell your kiddos great job!  They are putting in the hard work and it is really paying off. 
• Be on the lookout for our end of the year Awards Banquet.  I am looking to have it at the pool on Sunday, July 13th from 6-8.  I will need to get the date and time ok'd by the city but this appears to work for Coach Kate and Anna.  More to come.
