Date & Time: The meet is scheduled for Tuesday, May 28^th. Visiting team warm-up will begin at 5:00pm. The meet will start promptly at 5:30pm.

Pool Address:

75 Bonnie Lane, Atlanta, GA 30328

There is a “Mountaire” sign at the top of the driveway.

Parking:

There is limited parking in our pool lot but it will fill quickly. 

Parents are welcome to park in the pool lot while official spaces are available. Please ask your parents NOT to park in the pool driveway; there will be signs indicating this and it’s important for safety reasons that everyone adheres. There is street parking in the neighborhood around our pool. We only allow parking on one side of the road; this is so that first responders can easily get around if needed. Please ask parents to observe the “no parking” signs in the yards on the street.

Visitor Bullpen: Visiting team bullpen will be just outside the pool gate on the basketball court. Our pool is built in a former granite quarry and is fairly shady in the afternoons. We recommend bringing bug spray, especially for the volunteers!

Visiting Team Volunteers:

We’d like to follow ASA guidelines on volunteers:

Each team is to provide two timers for their lanes. - Total of 6 volunteers for each session

Each team is to provide a Master Recorder for each session

Each team should provide a computer operator for each session

Each team should provide their own ribbon person (label and file) for each session

Each team will provide a Place Judge for each session

Each team will Provide their own Bull Pen Workers for each session

We normally do a shift change after the end of the backstroke (event 46), those workers just report directly to their positions and we keep the meet moving along. If you need for our announcer to call for your second shift workers at a different time please let us know.

Timer and Judge’s Meeting:

Please have your timers and place judges available for a pre-meet meeting at 5:15 pm. We have a new digital timing system called Time Drops that integrates with SwimTopia and Meet Maestro. 

Concessions:

We will have a variety of dinner and summer treats available, including hamburgers and cheeseburgers (with our special Barracuda seasoning!), Hebrew National Kosher hotdogs, cheese & pepperoni pizza slices, fruit, assorted chips, candy and ice cream drinks. We’ll also have a variety of drinks including sodas, Gatorade, and still and sparkling water. Our concession stand accepts Apple Pay, cash, credit card and venmo and will begin serving at 5pm.

Inclement Weather:

If we hit inclement weather our plan is to clear the pool deck and have teams wait in their cars, as we do not have a facility large enough to get everyone inside safely. Please share this with your families, so we can get everyone to safety quickly if needed. 

We are out of town this meet but Emmy Turner will be our official team rep.
