SAVE THE DATE! Important Meeting for Summer Swim Meets
Barracuda families,
Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 2nd at 6:00PM for an important meeting regarding the following 2024 season meets: GA Recreation & Parks Association (GRPA) District & State meets and Atlanta Swim Association (ASA) championship meet. The meeting will be online only. See below for Zoom link.
- GRPA District meet - one regional competition in which swimmers across the state swim competitively against other teams within their district from various locations within the state. (the Briarwood Barracudas are representing the City of Brookhaven). June 22nd.
- GRPA State meet - This is a meet in which swimmer that qualified in District meet move on to the state competition. July 19th-20th at Columbus Aquatics Center.
- ASA Championship meet - Brings together swim teams from all over the Metro area to compete at GA Tech. This is a fantastic opportunity for our swimmers enjoy some competition among other swimmers in their age groups across the Metro area as well as swim in an Olympic size pool. ASA Championship - June 28th
