Hi Parents,

Sorry for the back to back emails but I did not want to combine them.  We have confirmed some lane time at Marist!  They have an 8 lane pool with lane lines and diving blocks!  The city worked hard to find us a solution and we got very lucky that the Marist AD and current Parks and Rec Director go way back.  I can honestly say the City came through big for us.  Because we have an 8 lane pool, we are going to combine the 5 and 6 year olds into 1 practice at 5:30. The schedule through June 1 will look like this:

• Wednesday 5/22 @ Lynwood Pool.  Normal practice schedule; 5:30-9
• Thursday 5/23- No practice
• Monday 5/27- No Practice for Memorial Day
• Tuesday 5/28- Swim meet @ Mountaire
• Wednesday 5/29- Swim Practice @ Marist from 5:30-8:30 All 5/6 year olds will be at 5:30. Group A of 7/8 year olds will be at 6-6:45.  Group B will be from 6:45-7:30.  9+ will be from 7:30-8:30. 
• Thursday 5/30- Swim Practice @ Marist from 5:30-8:30 All 5/6 year olds will be at 5:30. Group A of 7/8 year olds will be at 6-6:45. Group B will be from 6:45-7:30. 9+ will be from 7:30-8:30. 
• Friday 5/31- Morning Practice @ Marist 9-11.  This is for age 9+ only.  We will split this session up into (2) 1 hour practices.  A sign up genius will go out and it will be first come.
• Saturday 6/1- Stroke Clinic @ Marist 9-11.  This is for kids  age 7+.  The coaches will open up (2) 1 hr sessions.  There will be a sign up genius that will go out and it will be first come.

The hope is that Briarwood is ready to go for us on Monday 6/3 but if it is not, we will likely extend at Marist until it is ready.  Fingers crossed that the nice weather this week has allowed them to really move forward on the paving.
