    Ribbons/Medals/Awards

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to the end of season party/banquet.  We had a great time.  Congrats to all the kids who won awards.  If you were not at the party, you can pick up your child's end of the season medal (each swimmer got one) and any ribbons from the meets at my house 2345 Nesbitt Dr 30319.  They will be on the front porch.  I will leave them out until July 30th and then they will be stored back in the swim team closet until next year.  There are still about 6 trophies for high point swimmers and most improved swimmers.  Below are what those awards were for and who won in each age group.  The trophy will be out on my porch as well.

High Point- Points are given out at dual meets for individual events and relays as well as at ASA Championships. Winning high point is a sign of very strong swimmer as well as one who consistently swims at all meets. We had a lot of close ones this year and several people who jumped into 1st after ASA Championships!

Most Improved: This report is designed to identify the "most improved" athletes in a given season ranked first by the total number of improved times posted in the season and then by the average percentage of improvement across all strokes. Measuring number of improved times rewards consistent improvement and participation. Swimming more events in more meets gives more opportunity for improvement.
