Hi Parents,

Tuesday's meet was great (aside from being in an oven on the side of 400)!  From top down, Hammond Hills was such a great and welcoming organization.  Unfortunately, we lost 506 to 259 but we had almost 26% of our athletes improve their times!  Congratulate your children on a job well done.  For those who stayed until the end, it was awesome seeing our coaches pass down a tradition from when they were swimming summer league as kids.  AAAAHHHHH WHHHOOOOOSH!  

Please remember to sign up for this Tuesdays meet which is at home vs. Byrnwyck by tomorrow (Saturday) @ 11:59 PM.  We will need a lot of volunteers so please sign up, especially if you haven't met your 2 meet volunteer minimum requirement for the season.  This is a per family requirement.  

Be sure to wish our GRPA swimmers luck tomorrow as they will be representing the city of Brookhaven and looking to qualify for the GRPA State Meet!

Guppy Meet- Our first Guppy Meet will be held next Saturday (6/25) at Briarwood pool from 9-11.  It is for 6&u only and will be way more low key than a normal meet.  The coaches will run it and have some individual races as well as fun relays for the kids.  If you plan to attend, you will need to click on Schedule>Guppy Meet>Meet Entry and mark attending.  We will need to have a firm number of swimmers by Thursday evening.  

Final thing-  ASA championships are right around the corner.  Our time slot is 10:30 to 2:30 on Saturday July 2nd @GA Tech.  This is a really fun meet and they do such a great job of putting it together.  If you plan to go, please go in to the schedule and mark your availability.  This has to be done by Sunday 6/19.  The City of Brookhaven is covering our team dues for this event once again this year.
