Hi Barracuda Parents:

It is that time of the year again!!!  We are about to open our registration in the coming week (or so) and are in the process of finalizing all of the details for this years season.  Our amazing coaches are back this season and we will be competing in ASA (Atlanta Swim Assocation) again this year.  With 1 year under our belt, we now know how their league works a little better and hope to field a competitive team.  Our team is aging, which helps, but if you know any 13+ boys or girls who are interested in joining a fun neighborhood team, please pass this information on to them!!!

We are in desperate need of a couple more parents who can commit to helping with some of the behind the scenes planning.  The requirements include hopping on a few meetings prior to the season and then accepting a more defined role throughout the season.  Ideally we would like 2 parents in each of these roles.  Please respond to me if you are interested in helping.  These roles include:

1. Practice Coordinator-  Works with coaches to address any practice related issues.  Responsible for pizza night and distribution of shirts/ribbons at practice.

2. Meet Coordinator- Will be in contact with other team and then will distribute details of the upcoming meets to our parents.  This position will need to arrive at home meets early to help with set up and get volunteers to their roles.

4. Concessions at meets- responsible for snack bar purchase and having a dinner option for Tuesday night meets.

5. Post Season Coordinator- Responsible for getting all the swimmers properly signed up for the ASA GA Tech Championships as well as the GRPA district and state meet.  

I am excited for another great year!  I look forward to seeing everyone in a few short months.  Also, look for a parents meeting notification to be held some time at the end of April.
